Insurance Information

Medicare - The Crossville Medical Group participates in Medicare and as such, accepts assignment payments. We file all Medicare claims. Medicare pays 80% of the allowable amount. We are required to collect the remaining 20% and any deductible from you or your co-insurer.

Managed Care Organizations (HMO's, PPO's) - The Crossville Medical Group has ongoing contract negotiations with managed care organizations. Please call if you have questions regarding our acceptance of your managed care organization.

  Please call should your insurance/network not be included. Many of these networks work with other insurance companies.

TennCare - Most of our physicians do not contract with MCO's. Dr. Carpenter and Dr. Wilson accept Pediatric TennCare patients under the age of 18 only. Dr. Fox accepts only Surgical TennCare patients. Dr. Villaruz accepts some TennCare referrals. Please call for details about your MCO.
